A classic moody January day with grey clouds looming above, set the scene for my couple session with Lauren and Garrett.  I actually quite love an overcast day, the light is soft and flattering, and well nothing says Scotland quite like a sky waiting to rain.  Plus, when the sun does make an appearance it seems that bit more special.  So, when I met up with Lauren and Garrett I was thrilled with the weather, especially since our session was taking place up Calton Hill.  The flat and even light allowed us to see the city views for miles!  Lauren and Garrett were wee rays of sunshine, the type of couple that love life and embrace adventure.  They travel to a different country every New Year's Eve and bring in the New Year somewhere new, every year.  In this case, Scotland!  What an amazing tradition to have.
